Chak No. 4/G.D. (Urdu: چک نمبر 4 جی ڈی) is a village near Renala Khurd. It is located almost 12 kilometer north to the city after crossing the lower bari doab canal. It is a beautiful, fertile land. It is the main village on Chuchak Road and act as a union council.^[1] It is famous for religious people and playing volley-ball and cricket. Its literacy rate is very good, now people focus on their educated rather their agriculture for sake of job, common occupations are teaching however good no of people are in military, navy, air-force and police. There are many officers in the every department. This village is famous for educated people in okara. Many students studied at different universities in the country. It has a High school for boys and girls as well.

History

Previously it was called Gulam Rasool Wala (Urdu: غلام رسول والا) due to the person who has first came here and start living here. When British established the water canal channel to this area they divided the area according to the water availability, the name 4/G.D. actually refer to 4th Gugera Drain.

Religion

Common religion of the village is Islam, however there are some further divisions that can be pointed out. like, Ahle Hadith are in large number and sunni in small.

Most people belongs Kamyana clan a descendent teribe of Hazrat Mian Kamman who is buried in Old Kamman east of Islampur in the ghoripal land possessed by Mian Asim Kamyana (Urdu:کمیانہ), it is basically a subcaste of Dhodi-Rajpoot (Urdu: ڈھڈی راجپوت), there are some Lahi Kharal (Urdu:کھرل) and Bhatti (Urdu:بھٹی)some people belongs to Jat Jurra families.(جث جرا)
