It is the developer and provider of the POLi, an online payment system that is used by merchants and consumers in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Using POLi consumers can pay for goods on websites with funds taken directly from their bank accounts, allowing merchants to instantly see that funds are on the way. This allows merchants to immediately dispatch the order to the consumer, even if the funds take several days to clear.
At the time of writing, POLi requires[1] customers to use Microsoft Windows. This policy effectively means that less than 88% of current Internet users are able to use the service.
