Frozen Camp Wildlife Management Area is located on convert|2587|acre in Jackson County near Ripley, West Virginia.cite web |url=http://www.wvdnr.gov/Hunting/D6WMAareas.shtm#70d6 |title=Frozen Camp WMA page |accessdate=2008-10-04 |publisher=WV Division of Natural Resources ] The hilly terrain is mostly covered with second-growth mixed hardwoods, with some open creek bottoms and ridgetops. To reach Frozen Camp WMA from Ripley, follow US 33 east about convert|8.5|mi to Frozen Camp Road (County Route 28), then follow Frozen Camp Road south about convert|2.5|mi to the WMA. The Frozen Camp WMA can also be accessed from US 33 at the community of Marshall, located about convert|11.5|mi east of Ripley on US 33.

Hunting and fishing

Fishing opportunities are available in both the convert|22|acre|adj=on Left Fork Lake and the convert|20|acre|adj=on Right Fork Lake for largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish. Available hunting can include deer, rabbit, grouse, squirrel, turkey and waterfowl.

Boating is permitted (electric motors only) on both of the small lakes. Access to Left Fork Lake is by foot only. Right Fork Lake is accessible by vehicle, and a boat ramp is available. A convert|200|yd|adj=on shooting range is located on the WMA. Camping is prohibited at Frozen Camp WMA land.
