Next Gen is a professional wrestling stable consisting of Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, and Manu. They are currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), wrestling on their RAW brand. They are also World Tag Team Champions.

History

World Wrestling Entertainment

Ted DiBiase made his television debut as a heel on May 26th, 2008 telling , then World Tag Team Champions, Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes that he would become one half of the Tag Team Championship. At Night of Champions 2008, Cody Rhodes turned on Hardcore Holly and joined DiBiase and made DiBiase and Rhodes Tag Team Champions. After holding the titles for over a month, they dropped the titles to John Cena and Batista on the August 4th edition of RAW. The next week they issued their rematch clauses and they took back the titles. At Unforgiven (2008), Next Gen defeated Cryme Tyme to retain the World Tag Team Championship. Later in the night, during CM Punk's interview Next Gen, with a new member, Manu assaulted CM Punk with Randy Orton. Kofi Kingston tried to stop it, but ended up being assaulted.
