Fork Creek Wildlife Management Area is located on convert|7000|acre in Boone County near Nellis, West Virginia.cite web |url=http://www.wvdnr.gov/Hunting/D1WMAareas.shtm#8d1 |title=Fork Creek WMA page |accessdate=2008-10-04 |publisher=WV Division of Natural Resources ] The steep terrain and narrow valleys are mostly covered with second-growth mixed hardwoods. Fork Creek WMA is located in Boone County about convert|1|mi northwest of Nellis on County Park Road 802.

Hunting and fishing

Fishing opportunities are limited by the small size of the stream. Available hunting can include deer, fox, grouse, squirrel, turkey and raccoon.

A convert|100|yd|adj=on shooting range is located on the WMA. Camping is prohibited at Fork Creek WMA land.
