Tunnels in the United Kingdom is a link page for any
road ,railway ,waterway or other form oftunnel , anywhere in theUnited Kingdom .A tunnel is an underground passageway with no defined minimum length, though it may be considered to be at least twice as long as wide. Some civic planners define a tunnel as 0.1 miles (0.16 kilometers) in length or longer. For example, the underpass beneath Yahata Station in Japan is only convert|0.08|mi|km long and therefore would not be considered a tunnel.

Some tunnels are not for transport at all but are fortifications, for exampleMittelwerk andCheyenne Mountain .The longest canal tunnel is the Standedge Tunnel in the United Kingdom, over three miles (5 km) long.
