Geography
Pasadena Avenue's southern end is on Columbia Street, which marks the border with South Pasadena. It moves north through a residential area until it meets California Boulevard, where it begins to run alongside California State Route 710. In Downtown Pasadena, the street is often used as a back entrance to nearby office buildings. North of Holly Street, the road bends northwest, but is abruptly cut off by a large freeway intersection.North of the intersection, Pasadena Avenue resumes its northwestern route, but ends abruptly, just a block short of Seco Street.
