Belfast GiantsPlaying career 2004–present Mike Burgoyne (born December 28, 1980 in Hamilton, Ontario) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL.
Burgoyne had spells in the United Hockey League for the Quad City Mallards, Rockford IceHogs and the Motor City Mechanics before moving to the Central Hockey League for the Oklahoma City Blazers where he became a CHL All-Star. In both seasons, he led the team in assists and points. In 2008, Burgoyne moved to the United Kingdom and joined the Belfast Giants.
