History
The church is medieval. It was restored by George Gilbert Scott in 1845 and 1846 with further work by W. D. Caroe in 1912.
Features
The lychgate of 1881 was designed by George Francis Miles, son of Revd Robert Miles, Rector.

There are eight bells in the tower. The largest is 15.5 cwt.
