Jason "Jay E" EppersonThe Dead Executives are a record production and songwriting team, composed of brothers Joel and Benji Madden and Jason "Jay E" Epperson. The group often collaborates with many major and new artists in their songs. Some artists they have collaborated with are J-Kwon, Jung Tru, Young Dre The Truth, Three 6 Mafia, and Murphy Lee. The Dead Executives songs usually have Joel Madden singing or saying the name of the group in the background.
Appearances
In 2005 the group produced and co-wrote three songs on Hilary Duff's album Most Wanted, "Wake Up", "Beat of My Heart", and "Break My Heart".[1][2] Featured on Three 6 Mafia's 2008 album, "Last 2 Walk", the Dead Executives collaborated and produced the track "My Own Way". In 2008 the group collaborated with Young Dre The Truth and produced a song called "Workin'". The song was featured in the Madden NFL 09 soundtrack. Also, the Dead Execs, together with the other members of Good Charlotte, wrote, performed and produced the anti-Bush anthem "Fight Song", which is published on Good Charlotte's compilation record "The Greatest Remixes".
