Calzado played for the Orioles in the 2005 season. In four games, he had one hit in five at bats, playing the outfield. He batted and threw right-handed. He spent his entire career, except for a portion of 2004 with the Atlanta Braves, with the Orioles after being signed as an amateur free agent in 1996. On June 26, 2009, Calzado signed with the Long Beach Armada, Golden Baseball League in Long Beach, California.
