Career
Marshall made his first team debut for Blackburn Rovers in the League Cup as a 76th minute substitute in a 4–1 victory against Grimsby Town on 27 August 2008.[2]
On 23 January 2010 Marshall was signed on a month's emergency loan by Rotherham United. On 30 June, Marshall will become a free agent as it was confirmed he would not be offered a new contract by Blackburn and he agreed to join Rotherham permanently on 1 July.
Marshall scored his first career goal in Rotherham's 4–1 League Cup First Round defeat to Peterborough United.[3] His first league goal came in a 2-2 draw with Northampton.
