Language center

Language center

The language center is part of the human brain cortex where most of language processing takes place. It does not refer to any single or specific part of the brain — mostly because no such physical "center" is currently known. However, Broca's area and Wernicke's area have both been shown to be important in language processing and, as a result, are normally considered parts of the "language center."
