Seliana ( _el. Φελλόη) is a greek village located in north Peloponnese and more specifically in the east part of the prefecture of
Achaea . The village is built at an altitude of ~750 m on the foothills of the fir forest of Sarantapikho and on the eastern slope of the valley of river Krios.The village had a population of 305 [ [http://www.statistics.gr/gr_tables/S1101_SAP_1_TB_DC_01_03_Y.pdf National Statistical Service of Greece - Census 2001] (PDF, greek)] in 2001 and it is in the municipality ofAigeira .Seliana is connected by a 19 Km road to the town of Aegeira and the "New National Road" ( _el. Νέα Εθνική Οδός) (GR-8A,Athens - Corinth - Patras). Beside a large platanus tree (trunk circumference 4.5 meters) and beside the old chapel of St. Basil are the ruins of ancient buildings.
