National Book Trust

National Book Trust, (NBT) is an Indian publishing house, founded in 1957 as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education within the Government of India.

Jawaharlal Nehru envisioned that the NBT would be a bureaucracy-free structure that would publish low-cost books.[1] They publish a monthly Newsletter about recent publications.
