- Eli Ruckenstein
Dr Eli Ruckenstein is a Distinguished Professor, Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the
University at Buffalo, The State University of New York . His main research areas arecatalysis , surface phenomena, colloids and emulsions, and bio-compatible surfaces and materials.Biography
He received his PhD from the
Polytechnic University of Bucharest in 1949. He started his academic career as an Assistant Professor with his alma mater. In 1969, he was invited to spend six weeks inLondon at the University College and Imperial College. After this he received an invitation asNational Science Foundation Senior Scientist atClarkson College . Subsequently in 1970, he joined theUniversity of Delaware as a Full Professor.
