Central Fire Station is a historic fire station at Leonard and School Streets in Taunton, Massachusetts.
The station was built in 1869 and added to the National Historic Register in 1984.
Recent history
In 2008, a $2.1 million overhaul of the Central Fire Station began. The project includes a reconstructed basement and floor system designed to handle the weight of the fire trucks. The station will also be brought into compliance for access by disabled people.
