Genocide is a fictional character owned by DC Comics, and created by writer Gail Simone for the "Wonder Woman" comic book.

Fictional background

The supervillain Libra sent several of the scientific members of his Secret Society of Super Villains team to collect soil samples from various regions of Earth where acts of genocide took place over the past 100 years. (1908-2008) ["DC Universe" #0 (June 2008)] They used the soil to form a being, which they brought to life through various means. They plan to use Genocide as a weapon against their enemy Wonder Woman.
