Girard Winery is a winery located in Yountville, California, U.S.

Founded in 1974 in Oakville, California by former top Kaiser Industries executive, automaker and industrialist Stephen A. Girard, Jr. [Ron Herbst and Sharon Tyler Herbst. (1995). "The Wine Lover's Companion", Barron's Educational Series, Inc., Hauppauge, NY. ISBN 0-8120-1479-0.] .

History

In 1996, the Girard family sold the winery to food and wine entrepreneur Leslie Rudd, [Fish, Tim. Rudd changed the name of the Oakville estate property to Rudd Winery in 2000, and sold the Girard Winery brand to vintner Patrick Roney. Roney subsequently hired Marco DiGiulio as winemaker.

In 2008, Girard opened a visitor center in downtown Yountville.
