First Baptist Academy of Dallas (commonly FBA) is a Biblically-integrated, college preparatory school located in downtown Dallas, Texas.

FBA is in the city center district with easy access to the arts district and the West End historic district enabling students to use the Dallas Museum of Art, the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, and the Dallas World Aquarium as extended classrooms.

FBA's student body is organized in three schools and is 29% diverse." The lower school (grades K-4) represents approximately 31% of the student population and the middle school (grades 5-8) represents 28%. The upper school (grades 9-12) has an average class size of 17 students and represents approximately 41% of the student polulation.

FBA Honors courses include: English, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Math Analysis, French III, Spanish III, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Forensic Science, World History, Art III, and Theater Arts II. Advanced Placement courses include: Biology, Calculus, English Literature and Composition.

FBA also offers a diverse fine arts curriculum including choir, band, studio art, theatre, journalism, photography and pottery.

Students graduating from FBA in 2008 were accepted to 22 colleges and universities in the state of Texas and 19 outside the state of Texas. Acceptances included

FBA is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Accrediting Commission of the Texas Association of Baptist Schools.

Athletics

The eighteen acre Saints Athletic Complex is located just east of downtown Dallas off I-30 and the Loop 12/Buckner exit.

FBA competes in TAPPS 5A and fields teams in the following sports.

FBA students are required to accumulate at least 50 hours of community service before graduation. Samaritan's Purse, Luke's Closet of Dallas Theological Seminary, Dallas Life and the Downtown Pregnancy Center are all regular recipients of FBA student service."
