Rebecca Scott (born September 29 1972) is an American model who was featured as "Playboy" magazine's Playmate of the Month in August, 1999 as well as several "Playboy" videos.

Based on her height and weight as published in her centerfold data sheet, Scott's body mass index of 21.3 is the highest of any Playmate since "Playboy" began publishing Playmate data sheets in July 1977, although according to data in "Playboy"'s Playmate directory [http://www.playboy.com/playmates/directory] , Rosemarie Hillcrest Miss October 1964, had a body mass index of 23.4.

Scott is, of course, atypical. In the 1990s, the typical Playmate body mass index is 18. According to a [http://www.newscientist.com/article.ns?id=dn3204 study] published in "British Medical Journal", body mass indexes of Playmates have been declining, over the past 50 years. However, the weight of the models has remained fairly stable; their height increased.

In the 1950s, the most attractive female body mass index was considered to be about 20, and the centerfolds reflected this. The optimum waist to hip ratio was believed to be slightly lower than 0.7. Over time, the bust and hip size of the models decreased, while waist size increased.

These findings are at odds with claims that Playmates' body shapes are still more 'hourglass' than in previous decades and that the maximally sexually attractive female waist to hip ratio is constant.
