Loomis is a small hamlet in the southwestern part of Saskatchewan located on Highway 18, about 60km east of the Alberta-Saskatchewan border and is about 185km south west of Swift Current.

History

Loomis was once a busy little hamlet, with a few small businesses and storefronts along the main street, four grain elevators that have since been demolished, and a school that still stands as of today. Since the late thirties Loomis has slowly died in population and only one family remains.
