Kim Joo-Sung (Hangeul: 김주성; November 9 1979 born in U-2-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan) is a South Korean basketball player, whose position is Centre-forward.His current team is Dongbu Promy of Wonju and back number is Thirty-two, whose salary for a year is 670 thousand dollars(about KRW 680,000,000). (The second is Seunghyun KIM, whose salary is 625 thousand dollars(about KRW 630,000,000)

During Chungang University(1998 ~ 2001)

While he attended Chungang University, he amazed spectators with his speed and agility. Overcome the loss in 2003-2004 championship

Kim made the averages of 18.85 points, 8.85 rebounds, 2.43 shoot-blocks in a game and won the Most Valuable Player of the league next season. But, though his contribution, the Xers failed to win the championship of 2003-2004 for defeated by Jeonju KCC Egis that Sangmin LEE, Sungwon JO, Seungkyun CHOO played well leading their team won. Therefore, the Promy failed to join the post-season taken the eighth rank.

Kim revived in 2007-2008 season. Without Hur Jae and Kisung SHIN, He had become the ace of his team. In that season, of course, Kwangjae Lee, who graduated Yonsei University, joined the Promy and participated in games. Despite a rookie joined, Kim contributed to the defense rather than the offense. In the box, he made the twin tower with Reggie Okosa, become the traitor to the opposite teams.His team won the league this season, and won the championship defeating Seoul Samsung Thunders as a result of 4 wins and 1 loss, either. Kim won the Most Valuable Player for the second time.
