When he was middle school student, he dropped the school and went to Brazil. He started his football career in Coritiba FC youth club. He played for 2 more teams in Brazil, each of Iraty SC and Rio Branco FC.

Come to Gyeongnam FC

He came back to Korea in 2008. Gyeongnam FC manager Cho Kwang-Rae wanted to contract with him, and bid was successfully complete. Lee came Gyeongnam FC with new foreign player Almir and was gaven number 30. He evaluated as a very good technician and hot-prospect player by his manager and coaches.
