Daniel Vallverdu (born March 17, 1986, in Valencia) is a Venezuelan tennis player who plays on the ATP Tour and ITF circuit. He has a career high singles ranking of #727 (May 2005) and his highest doubles ranking is #756 (August 2005). He also competes for the Venezuelan team in the Davis Cup. He is most remembered for helping Andy Murray from the second half of 2010 onwards.[1]

Vallverdu has a career win-loss singles record of 1-4 on the ATP tour (29-36 including Futures and Satellite events).[2]
Doubles
He has a career win-loss doubles record of 2-1 (33-37 including Futures and Satellite events). In June 2008, he surprisingly became British tennis player Andy Murray's doubles partner for the 2008 Queen's Club Championships at Queens Club in London, despite not having competed on the tour for two years and being without a high world ranking.[2]

Vallverdu has played for Venezuela in eight matches over six ties.
Personal life
He has a long standing friendship with Andy Murray, who he met while at the Sanchez-Casal Tennis Academy.[3] He is currently based at the University of Miami in the United States and resides in Barcelona, Spain.
