November 27 ,1963 ) is a German model andactress . She was best known for her role in a series ofadvertisements as the spokesperson for webretailer Overstock.com . She moved to theUnited States in the mid-1980s.Ehrenfeld first appeared on national TV in a series of long-running spots for
Special K cereal (without any lines; it was strictlyvoiceover ) in the late 1980s to the mid-1990s, as well as a series of spots forKotex in the mid-to-late 1990s.In mid-2005, Ehrenfeld was replaced by a different actress on Overstock.com's TV and radio commercials, but soon after returned as the spokesperson, following shrill protests from her fans, until she was replaced by the new spokesperson, Briana Walker. Lexus automobile commercial that aired throughout the month of December 2005. In March 2007 she began appearing in a television ad forNesquik .On 29 August 2008 an image of Sabine Ehrenfeld wearing glasses and a light blue suit jacket started appearing on the various internet sites erroneously stating that is was Republican Governor and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin of Alaska. This was probably caused by a mistake in Google Images search results, which included that photo and the caption "Sarah Palin, Alaska's new governor...askpang.typepad.com."
Ehrenfeld has had modest roles in
films ,television shows, and stage productions. She has spent time working with theGroundlings improvisational comedy troupe.According to internet reports, Ehrenfeld is an accomplished pilot and equestrian. She is fluent in English, French, and Italian, in addition to German, and is also an expert pistol shot.
