Olympic medal record Sailing Competitor for United Kingdom Competitor for Bahamas Gold 1964 Tokyo Star class Bronze 1956 Melbourne Star class Durward Randolph Knowles (born 2 November 1917) is a sailor and olympic champion from the Bahamas. He competed at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, where he won a gold medal in the Star class, together with Cecil Cooke.[1][2] He received a bronze medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne.[3]
However, he competed in the 1948 Olympics in the Star for the United Kingdom winning the 4th place together with Sloane Elmo Farrington.
