National Express West Midlands route 373 is a bus route operating in the West Midlands, England.

Present

Route 373 is a bus service [http://timetables.centro.org.uk/showtimetable.asp?file=3_a373WMT#373 Network West Midlands Timetable] [http://timetables.centro.org.uk/showtimetable.asp?file=3_a373WMT#373 Network West Midlands Timetable] operated by National Express West Midlands in the Borough of Walsall.

It starts off from Walsall by following a similar route to services 328, 329 and 329A around the areas of Ryecroft, Coalpool, Harden and Blakenall. Once near Bloxwich it devivates to the Lower Farm Estate before following a similar route to that taken by service 302 to Bloxwich. After visiting Bloxwich the bus follows the reverse of the above back to Walsall.

The 373 is the evening and Sunday service combining daytime National Express West Midlands services 302, 328, 329 and 329A.

History

Up until July 19th 2008, two circular services operated, the 372 and the 373. The 372 followed the same route as current service 301 to Bloxwich before following the current route of the 372 between Bloxwich and Walsall. The 373 meanwhile followed the same route as current 372 to Bloxwich before following the route the 301 takes into Walsall.

From this date, the 373 will also no longer be a circular service. Instead, at a half hourly frequency, the service will operate from Walsall to Bloxwich. The route will depart Walsall, then travel through Ryecroft, Harden, Blakenall and Lower Farm, before doing the reverse once arriving in Bloxwich. The service will now take 28 minutes in each direction.
