He was born on January 21, 1986. He grew up in the notorious Jane and Finch neighbourhood of Toronto, Canada.[1] Chuckie rose to notoriety with the filming of an amateur rap video called "You Got Beef?"[2] The music video was widely viewed on the internet, being both praised and criticized.[3] In October 2006, Chuckie was featured in an episode of the nationwide The Fifth Estate named "Lost in the Struggle".[4] He was also on an episode of MuchMusic's Music Is My Life, talking about his personal life.
