Biography

Geoff began composing jingles and theme songs for podcasters back in 2005 and has written hundreds and the list keeps growing. He is best known from his jingles heard on Adam Curry's Daily Source Code Podcast, GeekBrief.TV, Radio Lingua Network, Tips from The Top Floor, ScreenCasts Online, The Typical Mac User Podcast, the successful iYule project and recently the theme song for TWiT Live hosted by Leo Laporte.

Geoff has been Entertainment Director of the Big Bang Piano Bars for several years and he is performing live several nights every week at The Big Bang Bar in Nashville TN, and has also worked as an engineer and producer at Studio East in Charlotte, NC.

Geoff is also the keyboard player for the Nashville based power pop band, Codaphonic as well as the bassist and lead singer with Chicago based Police Tribute Band, One World. Prior to that Geoff played bass for Schick Weave where he mastered the art of his patented "Back Arc Rock Kick." Check for details about the next performance on the dedicated tribute site. From 1999-2003, Geoff played with the Austin, TX based group, The Wizerds, along with brothers Bill and John Lefler.

Finally, Geoff Smith has been singing with the IMpressions, the old motown group. They have been on the top 10 on the southern soul/beach music charts for the past few years with the song “Rhythm”. They were even up for song of the year at the Beach Music Awards in 2007.
