Maldivian passport is a proof of citizenship issued to the nationals of Maldives for traveling purposes. It has a standard of 32 pages. The Maldivian passport can also be available in 64 pages for about MRF 600. The Maldivian passport is valid for all countries. It is vaild for 5 years from the date of issue. The biometric passport was released in late 2007. It is very colorfull with a pinkish tinge on the pages inside and shows the culture of the Maldives by a coulorfull skech on the top right of each page in the passport. The passport number is written down on each page.
