The 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Tournament will be held from May 9th through May 25th, 2008. This will be the 39th annual Division I NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship tournament. Sixteen NCAA Division I college men's lacrosse teams will meet after having played their way through a regular season, and for some, a conference tournament, to play in the NCAA Tournament.
The first round of the tournament will be played on May 9th and 10th at the home field of the top-seeded team. The quarterfinals will be held on May 16th and 17th on neutral site fields. The tournament will culminate with the semifinals and finals held on Memorial Day weekend at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
