6th Parachute Division (Germany)

The 6th Parachute Division was incorporated into the German Ninth Army of General Busse in 1945 to defend the Oder-Neisse front against Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov around the Seelow Heights. Hermann Göring sent the Kurmark Panzer Division to rally them after a breakthrough. Effectively controlled by Göring, they were an official part of Army Group Vistula.

At one of the last days Hitler haved relied on General Busse's army to help Berlin.
