Wayne Parnell

Wayne Dillon Parnell (born 30 July 1989 in Port Elizabeth) is an South African cricketer who currently plays for Eastern Province and is the current captain of the South Africa under-19s. He is a left-hand batsman and bowls left-arm fast-medium.

Parnell made his first-class debut in October 2006, at the age of 17, against South Western Districts scoring 17 and taking one wicket. Parnell was selected as captain of the South Africa team for the 2008 U/19 Cricket World Cup having also played for the team in 2006 U/19 Cricket World Cup.
