QI ", theBBC comedypanel game television program me hosted byStephen Fry . Series F will be the first series to broadcast originally onBBC One , starting in early 2009 [cite news|url=http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressreleases/stories/2008/10_october/02/qi.shtml|title=QI moves to BBC One|date=2008-10-02|accessdate=2008-10-02]The first series started on
11 September 2003 . Although not mentioned at the time, all of the questions (with the exception of the final "general ignorance" round) were on subjects beginning with "a" (such as "arthropods", "Alans" and "astronomy"). The following four series continued the theme: the second series' subjects all began with "b", and so on.The dates in the lists are those of the BBC One broadcasts. The episodes were also broadcast on
BBC Four , generally a week earlier (as soon as one episode finished on BBC One, the next was shown on BBC Four). Aside fromAlan Davies and not adding clip shows, there are six guests that have appeared in ten or more episodes (out of 61), they are, with age of first appearance,Jo Brand (18),Rich Hall (16),Phill Jupitus (16),Bill Bailey (15),Sean Lock (14) andClive Anderson (10). Excluding the Pilot there have been a total of 51 different guest panellists in the five series to date.F Series (2008)
The sixth (or "F" series) of QI began recording on
5 May ,2008 . This series has again featured 12 recordings. It's unknown yet, if there is to be an extra episode ofouttakes , as there was at the end of the "E" series, but it will be announced soon. Whereas the previous series had only two new guests, this series has new guests in most of the episodes. Also, as with Series D, regular panellistBill Bailey does not appear at all (probably due to his Tinselworm tour schedule), nor do other semi-regularsJeremy Clarkson ,Vic Reeves ,Mark Steel and Arthur Smith. The main bonus of the series, following on from the "E" Series' "Elephant in the Room" bonus is the "Fanfare", where if any of the panellists said something particularly interesting a
fanfare would sound. The episodes are currently presented here in the order they were recorded in. No precise order of broadcast has been decided upon as of yet (with the obvious exception of the
Children in Need andChristmas special episodes).Episode 1 "Features"
