Football

Over the past two years Adairsville's football program has came under many changes following coach Johnny Gulledges decision to step down as head coach and the addition of new head coach Mark Arthur. Under Gulledge the tigers had a 50-37-1 record. Under Arthur the tigers are 7-7. Arthur was fired after the second game of the 2008 season (0-2) and the AD, Tolbert took over as interim coach where he lead the Tigers to their first win in 2008. The following week was their bye week and Tolbert stepped down as Head Coach. This turmoil caused Coach Gulledge to return to the field and take over as Head Coach. In his first week back, Gulledge lead the Tigers to an overtime win...Go Tigers!
