Ann Scott (Singer)

Ann Scott is an Irish singer/songwriter from Dublin. She has released two albums her first being "Poor Horse" (2005) followed by her second album "We're Smiling" (2006). She has been previously nominated in the best female category for the 2005 and 2007 Irish Meteor Awards.

Her album "Poor Horse" was voted into the Hotpress musicians' poll of Ireland's top 100 albums ever, while her second album has met with hearty critical acclaim and a growing number of fresh converts.

Ann Scott has shared the stage with artists as diverse as Blondie and Fairport Convention, while touring Ireland, America and the UK. She has also offered her voice to other bands such as Kila, David Kitt and Mark Geary.

She also manages her own independent label which her second album was released on.
