B.G. Simpson

B.G. Simpson

B.G. Simpson was born in Lexington, Ky in 1978 and is a guitarist/songwriter formerly of the band Waking Season (Sony/Columbia). Waking Season disbanded in April of 2006. Later that summer Simpson began writing and co-writing songs for/with Alex Band of The Calling and submitting songs to Gavin Rossdale of Bush. In 2007 he relocated from South Florida to Lexington, Kentucky to pursue music. Simpson has since put together a new band called Bleeding Black with Will Hunt of Dark New Day, and is in the process of recording a full length album with producer Brett Hestla.
