Phil Cunningham (born 17 December 1974, Macclesfield, Cheshire, England) is the newest member of the English band, New Order. He fully joined in 2004, having toured with the band as a session musician from 2001. He replaced Gillian Gilbert as a member of the band, but has a slightly different role, with less synthesizer and more guitar work.
In the 1990s, Cunningham was a member of the Britpop group Marion, who he has recently reformed with lead singer, Jaime Harding.
Cunningham was also involved in a band called Run Run Run but due to New Order obligations, he had to leave the project.
