Owl Creek is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hot Springs County, Wyoming, United States. The population was five at the 2010 Census.

Geography

Owl Creek is located at 43°46′49″N 108°34′6″W / 43.78028°N 108.56833°W / 43.78028; -108.56833 (43.780165, -108.568453)^[3].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 6.5 square miles (16.8 km²), all of it land.

Demographics

As of the census^[1] of 2000, there were 11 people, 4 households, and 3 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1.7 people per square mile (0.7/km²). There were 11 housing units at an average density of 1.7/sq mi (0.7/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 100.00% White.

There were 4 households out of which 50.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 75.0% were married couples living together, and 25.0% were non-families. 25.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 25.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.75 and the average family size was 3.33.

In the CDP the population was spread out with 36.4% under the age of 18, 27.3% from 25 to 44, 27.3% from 45 to 64, and 9.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females there were 83.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 133.3 males.
