John W. Morgan, BSc, LLB, MBA (born May 7, 1964), is a Canadian Lawyer, politician, and businessman. He is the current mayor of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Since being first elected in October 2000, Morgan paid down the municipal debt, expanded the municipal police force and focused on road construction. In 2004, he won a large majority (80%) in his bid for re-election.Fact|date=May 2007

Morgan recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of CBRM against the Government of Nova Scotia alleging unequal per capita provincial funding for his municipality.
