The Jewellery Design and Management International School (Abbreviation: JDMIS) is a school specializing in the jewellery industry based in Singapore.

Background

The JDMIS is a private limited company registered in Singapore in 2007. The school benefits from the restructured and streamlined organization and assets contributed by its majority shareholder, JusTanja Pte. Ltd. an education business with over 12 years of jewellery training experience in Singapore. Through JusTanja's Creative Jewellery Studio, over 11,000 students have completed professional training courses since 1995. The Dean of the JDMIS, Tanja M. Sadow is a reputable jeweler, gemologist and educator in Singapore and has worked with the Gemological Institute of America training US-based residence and extension courses as well as teaching the first GIA international extension course in Singapore. Her background also includes the development of curricula for the Jewellery Industry Training Centre of Singapore in 1991-1994

The JDMIS is located in Sunshine Plaza where it operates three classrooms to conduct jewellery design and fabrication courses each for between 8 and 12 students. One room is classified as a workshop and is used by students & GJPA members for 'practice sessions' where specialized equipment may be used under supervision.

Courses Offered

The JDMIS offers a single Diploma in Jewellery Design & Marketing and two Advanced Diplomas in Jewellery Design & Management and Jewellery Design & Entrepreneurship.
