The 2007-08 apertura Motagua season was the fifty-first season of the Motagua professional football lifetime. Motagua became the league's runner-up being beaten by Marathon. They were also the only team capable of beating CD Victoria, not only once, but twice.

Motagua additional of playing the Honduran league they competed in the last Copa Interclubes.
