The country's debut at Eurovision was at the

Elena Risteska sang "Ninanajna " (Нинанајна) inAthens ,Greece and came 12th. Despite never coming in the top 10 in the final, FYR Macedonia managed to enter every final up to 2008. Their record of entering every final from the semi-final was broken in 2008, when the jury vote used in the semi-final chose Sweden to pass to the final, with FYR Macedonia having come 10th in the televote.Macedonian Radio-Television (MKRTV) has used theSkopje Fest festival to select the Macedonian entry since the country's debut, with MKRTV also broadcasting Eurovision for the Macedonian people.Prior declaring
