Boldly Going Nowhere

"Boldly Going Nowhere" is an upcoming American television show for FOX. Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton, and Charlie Day, the creators, producers, and stars of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", are currently creating the show along with their Always Sunny writers' assistant Adam Stein. Plot

The show will be a mix of comedy and sci-fi and will contain the day to day life of an intergalactic spaceship controlled by a rogue captain.

Production

Currently, the trio are doing their work on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" before working on "Boldly Going Nowhere". The pilot will be shot sometime in October, and FOX has ordered five additional episodes. He will share a created-by credit, although McElhenney, Howerton, and Day will do much of the writing.

Cast

Although the entire cast has not yet been officially announced it has been rumored for sometime that Kurtwood Smith ("That '70s Show","Robocop") may be in talks to become the rogue captain of the "U.S.S. Nunavut", named after the Canadian territory, with possibly Tom Arnold joining the cast as first officer.
