Richard "Rick" D. Orman is a former provincial level politician from
Alberta ,Canada . He served as a member of theLegislative Assembly of Alberta from 1986 until 1993.Political career
Orman was first elected to the Alberta Legislature in the 1986 Alberta general election. He won the new electoral district of
Calgary Montrose for the Progressive Conservatives. The race in 1986 saw a field of four candidates, Orman would win a majority of the popular vote. He would slightly increase in popular vote finishing well ahead of Gereau in the three way race. Gereau ran for his second time also improved his showing but still finished well behind Orman.
