"KEWL Magazine" [ [http://kewlmag.com KEWL Magazine : Home ] ] is a national teen magazine distributed in the United States and Canada. It is published by KEWL, LLC and is located in Burbank, California, with distribution at mass merchandisers and bookstore chains throughout the country. The magazine was founded in 2007 by Mike Bundlie and Denise Bradley. "KEWL Magazine" features interviews with teen celebrities as well as full poster pages. The magazine also features reviews on film, music, DVDs, video games, gear, gadgets and books,as well as regular GO GREEN environmental sections, beauty, fashion, and fitness sections. Covers have included Zac Efron, Corbin Bleu, Ryan Sheckler, Miley Cyrus, [ [http://www.mileyfansgallery.com/thumbnails.php?album=778 Miley Fans Photo Gallery - Kewl Magazine (February 2008) ] ] Ashlee Simpson, The Jonas Brothers, Sara Paxton and Mitchel Musso.

History

"KEWL Magazine" was co-founded by Mike Bundlie and Denise Bradley and is published by KEWL, LLC. DIC Entertainment and Geffen Records were involved in the first two issues of the magazine. The magazine is currently owned and controlled by KEWL, LLC with DIC Entertainment having a sub-minority equity stake. Originally launched as a promotional quarterly magazine (Spring and Summer), Kewl became monthly following its Holiday Issue (Dec/Jan 2007). The magazine releases 10 issues per year.

Events

BMI (Broadcast Music Incorporated), the Los Angeles Film Festival and Kewl Magazine presented “Family Day,” an all-day festival featuring live performances from Frequency5, 6 Twenty and T-Squad, at the Festival Promenade on Broxton in Westwood, CA [ [http://www.bmi.com/news/entry/535123 BMI.com | BMI, LA Film Fest, Kewl Magazine Kick-Start Summer with Music, Movies and More at ‘Family Day’ ] ]
