Staedtler Mars GmbH & Co. KG is a German fine writing instruments company and one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of writing and engineering drawing instruments. The company was founded by J.S. Staedtler in 1835. The company produces many writing instruments, including drafting pencils, leadholders, professional pens, and standard wooden pencils.
