Ontario , located in theKenora District .The highway is 21.4 kilometres long, and connects Highway 105 and the nearby town of Ear Falls with the hydroelectric
dam at Lower Manitou Falls [Ontario Kings Highways [http://www.thekingshighway.ca/Hwy804.htm] Highway 804] .The road was designated Highway 804 on
April 25 ,1962 . It was paved in1969 . At that time, it was the only tertiary highway in Ontario that was paved [Ontario Highways: [http://www.ontariohighways.org/kings_highways.html] Tertiary Highways] , but has now reverted back to a loose gravel surface highway. However, it is still wrongfully marked as paved in the most recent edition of the Ontario Official Road Map [Ontario Official Road
