"Fire and Rain" is a television movie released in 1989, based on the plane crash of Delta Air Lines Flight 191 at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport on August 2, 1985.

The film was written by Jerome Greer Chandler and Gary Sherman, and directed by Jerry Jameson.

Trivia

*Most of the rescue personnel seen in the film were real firefighters and paramedics from the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Some of them had taken part in the actual rescue efforts following the crash on August 2, 1985, and were thus portraying themselves.
